The Crossroads

The corner of De Anza Boulevard and Stevens Creek Boulevard, the old centre of West Side and Cupertino.

The village grew up where the Saratoga-Sunnyvale road (now De Anza Boulevard) crossed Stevens Creek Road. The city’s first post office, blacksmith shop and general store stood there. For decades the southeast corner was held by the R. Cali Brothers Feed Mill, replaced today by Cali Mill Plaza and City Hall.

Today the retail area is called the Crossroads District, lined with chain stores and restaurants.
