Home Union Store

The general store at the Crossroads that became The Cupertino Store.

Alexander Montgomery built a store on the corner of his ranch, then moved it across the road when the railroad came. It was run by the Home Union for ten years and then by Dixon & Wilson before it was incorporated as the Cupertino Store. In 1904 the store, the post office and the Crossroads all took the name Cupertino.
