Stevens Creek Reservoir

The lake behind Stevens Creek Dam, built in 1935, inside a 1,063-acre county park.

Stevens Creek Dam, an earthen dam 132 feet high, was built across the creek in 1935; it was raised 10 feet in 1985. Stevens Creek County Park surrounds the reservoir, with Picchetti Ranch to its east and six miles of trails connecting to Fremont Older.

Fishing is catch and release because of mercury in the water, and no powered boats are allowed.
