Glendenning Barn

A 1916 redwood barn from a Cupertino farm family, kept and rebuilt on the Apple Park site.

John Leonard built the barn in 1916 from redwood planks; he had married into the Glendenning family, who came from Scotland and settled in the area in the 1850s. Hewlett-Packard preserved it among redwoods, and the city declared it a historical site in 2004. Apple kept it, taking it apart during construction and rebuilding it elsewhere on the campus.
